The Tanay Wind Project is a 128 MW onshore wind development located in YES City in Tanay, Rizal, situated just 40 kilometers east of Metro Manila. Developed through a landmark partnership with the Rizal Provincial Government, this facility is strategically positioned to deliver a reliable source of clean energy near the primary power demand centers in Luzon. By leveraging our extensive experience from the Pililla Wind Project, the Tanay development is designed to drive long-term economic prosperity for both urban and local communities in the Rizal province.
Once fully operational, the Tanay Wind Farm is projected to generate 315.8 GWh of clean energy annually, which translates to an equivalent reduction of 141,252 tons of carbon emissions every year.
The project has successfully secured a 20-year Renewable Energy Payment Agreement (REPA) with TransCo following its GEA-2 award. The Tanay Wind Project is on track for energization, with full commercial operations expected by the 4th quarter of 2026
